Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon  is another outstanding Cabernet from this renowned Napa Valley winery. Dark garnet in color this lovely Cab has rich aromas of blackberries, rose petals, black pepper, and cedar. A complex and well balanced wine with lush flavors of berries and dark chocolate along with brown sugar and nutmeg. This is a wine to sip and savor with its impressive finish with ripe tannins.
Silver Oak's 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. This wonderful Cabernet was aged for 25 months in 100% American oak barrels followed by 20 months in the bottles before its release in 2008.
You can cellar this Cabernet through 2027. If you can afford this wine, it is a wine that you do not want to miss. This incredible Cabernet can be sampled at their winery in the Oakville area of the Napa Valley. Their new tasting room is open every day but Sundays from 9 AM - 4 PM.
