Ultimate Meatloaf Recipe

This is the ultimate meatloaf recipe. Serve this comfort food with garlic cheese bread and asparagus and a glass of Pinot Grigio. A truly delicious meatloaf recipe!
Wine Pairing: Pair this hearty meatloaf with Innocent Bystander Pinot Gris. This Australian wine is lovely with crisp apple flavors. You'll love the price on this great value wine.
Ingredients :
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup Pinot Grigio
2 lbs. lean hamburger
4 ounces prosciutto, diced into small pieces
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 eggs
1 medium onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Oregano
1 tablespoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried thyme
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Soak bread crumbs in wine for 5 or so minutes.
3. Reserve 1/2 of the tomato sauce.
4. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into a loaf shape. Pour tomato sauce on top and bake in the oven for approximately 90 minutes.
5. Slice and serve. (You'll agree, this is a delicious meatloaf recipe!)
