Our latest wine of the month is 2007 Francis Coppola "Sofia" Carneros Pinot Noir Rose. This sparkling wine is perfect for summer sipping. You will enjoy the rose petal and strawberry aromas and refreshing black cherries, strawberries, and citrus. This well balanced wine is fruity yet dry. A delightful wine for late summer barbecues! Bottle Your Own Wine

Feel the Grapes Between Your Toes

Cooking With Wine Recipes

Crock Pot Chicken

3 lbs. chicken thighs
Salt and pepper, to taste
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
1 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Rosemary sprigs

1. Rinse thighs and remove skin. Sprinkle thighs with salt and pepper. Discard skin.
2. Place thighs in crock pot. Sprinkle with garlic and chopped rosemary. Pour wine and chicken broth on top.

3. Cook for 6 hours on low.

4. Serve with cooked rice and garnish with rosemary sprigs.




Strawberry Wine Smoothies

A great Summer treat!

2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup of sliced banana
1 1/2 cups red wine

1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
2. Mix well in the blender and serve.





Peach Wine Smoothie

This makes a refreshing summer drink!

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
3-4 chopped peaches
1 bottle of Riesling or Gewurtraminer wine

1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
2. Mix well and serve.
