Copia

The American Center for Wine, Food, and the Arts

Copia is a non-profit discovery center founded by Robert Mondavi to explore, celebrate, and share the pleasures of wine and food. This would be a great place to begin a Napa Valley Wine Tour. Take a class, enjoy a meal, and enjoy some wine tasting.

Learning Experinces

Wine Tasting 101 is a 30 minute class that can prepare you with insider tips for a day of wine tasting in the valley. Get advice on which wineries to visit. Learn the basics of wine tasting, taste some wines, and receive a wine tasting passport that will give you discounts at selected wineries in Napa and Sonoma.

Experience daily cooking demonstrations from expert chefs. Sample the dish and take the recipe home.

Food and Wine Pairing classes will help you learn to select the wine to go with whatever food you are preparing. You are given a glass of red wine and a glass of white wine with a plate of various foods for this "hands on" learning experience.

You become the winemaker in this popular custom wine blending workshop. Select varietals to create your own custom blend. Pop in a cork, add a personalized label, and take home your own one-of-a-kind bottle of wine.

Dining Experiences

Julia's Kitchen serves lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. This restaurant is named after the famed chef, Julia Child, and is one of Napa Valley's top restaurants.

Indulge yourself with a three-course meal along with three outstanding wines. A Taste of COPIA lunch series occurs every Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. It includes a cooking demonstration, wine pairing discussion, and garden talk with expert chefs.

The Bistro offers a delicious assortment of small plates from 10 to 4 PM. The perfect spot for a quick snack.

Plan a visit soon to learn more about wine and food. Visit their website to learn more about the exciting happenings.
