Louis Roederer Champagnes are memorable wines. The House of Champagne of Louis Roederer was established in 1776 in France and has long been regarded as a top producer of fine Champagne. Their Champagnes are appreciated by wine connoisseurs throughout the world.
This French winery expanded their operations in the early 1980s by establishing Roederer Estate in the Anderson Valley near Mendicino, California. Some of California's best Sparkling Wines are now being produced by this California winery.
Louis Roederer Brut Premier
Brut Premier is their flagship multi-vintage Champagne. This elegant French wine is a blend of grapes from four different years. 2/3 of the grapes are Pinots and 1/3 Chardonnay. Alcohol content is 12%.
Pale yellow in color, this wine exhibits citrus aromas with notes of white pepper. Enjoy the typical toast-like flavors of Champagne with notes of pear and apple. The Brut Premier is a full bodied, medium dry wine that allows it to be paired with a variety of different foods.
This is an outstanding wine and an excellent value for the quality. Rated 92 by Wine Enthusiast and winner of numerous awards.
