Sonoma County is a diverse wine region with more than 400 wineries located north of San Francisco. Here you will find great California wineries along the coastline, the valleys, the riverbed, and the foothills. Sonoma is less crowded and more laid-back than Napa Valley. It’s also more spread out with winding scenic country roads connecting the charming towns.

Grapes were first planted in Sonoma during the early 1800s leaving this region with an abundance of old vine vineyards producing unique flavors. This wine region is known for its high quality Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Sparkling Wines.
