Gloria Ferrer Sparkling Wines

Gloria Ferrer has been producing award winning sparkling wines in the scenic Carneros region of California for more than twenty years now. Their 335 acre estate is located 40 miles northwest of San Francisco.

The Ferrer family has been producing wine in Spain since the 1500s. Their Spanish winery, Frixenet is well known around the world for its Sparkling Wines.

While they are best known for their wonderful sparkling wines, this Sonoma winery also produces Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Syrah.

Gloria Ferrer 2002 Brut Royal Cuvee " Gloria Ferrer 2001 Brut Royal CuveeThis exceptional Sparkling Wine was produced from the first press of hand harvested and gently pressed grapes from the Carneros region. The Brut Royal Cuvee was created in honor of King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sophia of Spain on their first visit to Northern California.

The 2001 vintage is another Gold Medal winner. It's a blend of two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay. Enjoy aromas of berries, cherries, and yeast and flavors of citrus, apple, spice, and toast. This well balanced wine has a delightful long finish. Rated 93 by Wine Spectator.
