Southern California Wineries

We discovered Southern California Wineries when our daughter went off to college in San Diego. Being from California's Central Valley east of San Francisco, we had long enjoyed the wines from Napa, Sonoma, and other Northern California wine regions.

We found a whole new world of wine as we began wine tasting in San Diego, Los Angeles, Ventura, and Temecula, where we discovered many wonderful wines to enjoy. You don't need to make the trek north to the Napa Valley or Sonoma to experience a California Wine Tour. You'll find lots of fabulous Southern California wineries to enjoy throughout the Southern regions of California.



San Diego Wineries are spread throughout San Diego County. Many of the tasting rooms are located in the rural foothill towns of Ramona, Julian, and Warner Springs. Others are located not far off of Highway 15 in the towns of Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, and Fallbrook.

Temecula wineries The Temecula Wine Country is contained within one area with all the Temecula wineries being close by one another. The old town full of antique shops and wooden sidewalks is fun to explore. There are numerous golf courses and nearby lakes as well. Temecula is a beautful setting for wine tasting Southern California. The wineries range from small, charming tasting rooms to large and elegant.


Los Angeles Wineries There are some unique wineries scattered throughout the Los Angeles area. Learn where to go to sample wine in Los Angeles and its surrounding cities. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the high quality wines you find.

Ventura County Wineries offer a unique wine tasting experience. These small family owned wineries have some wonderful wines they are eager to share with you. Discover the wineries of Ventura County sometime soon.
