Southern California Wineries

San Diego Wineries | Temecula Wineries | Los Angeles Wineries |

We discovered the Southern California Wineries when our daughter went off to college in San Diego in 2000. Being from California's Central Valley east of San Francisco, we had long enjoyed the wines from Napa, Sonoma, and other Northern California wine regions.

We felt like we had found a whole new world as we began wine tasting in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Temecula, where we discovered many wonderful wines to enjoy.



San Diego Wineries San Diego wineries are spread throughout San Diego County. Many of the tasting rooms are located in the rural foothill towns of Ramona, Julian, and Warner Springs. Others are located not far off of Highway 15 in the towns of Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, and Fallbrook.



Temecula Wineries Temecula wineries The Temecula Wine Country is contained within one area with all the Temecula wineries being close by one another. The old town full of antique shops and wooden sidewalks is fun to explore. There are numerous golf courses and nearby lakes as well.Temecula is a beautful setting for wine tasting. The wineries range from small, charming tasting rooms to large and elegant.


Los Angeles Wineries There are some unique wineries scattered throughout the Los Angeles area. Learn where to go to sample wine in Los Angeles and its surrounding cities. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the high quality wines you find.
