That's right, there are Los Angeles Wineries waiting to be discovered. You don't have to travel all the way to Napa to go wine tasting.
Los Angeles area wineries are spread out into different directions making it difficult to visit more than one or two wineries on the same day. However, there are some fun wineries that have wines worth sampling.
Agua Dulce Vineyards Address: 9640 Sierra Way, Agua Dulce, CA 91390 Telephone: (661)268-7402OpenAgua Dulce Vineyards is a 90 acre vineyard and winery located 45 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. This Los Angeles area winery is a family owned winery established in 1999. Wines produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Syrah, Port, Muscat, and Rose of Syrah.
Antelope Valley Winery Address: 24041 20th St. West, Lancaster, CA 93534 Telephone: (661) 722-0145 Open daily 11 AM - 6 PM This Antelope Valley winery is a family affair that produces handcrafted wine. Winces include Champagne Brut, Chablis, Chardonnay, Burgandy, and White Zinfandel.
D'Argenzio Winery Address: 1204 W. Burbank Blvd., Burbank, CA 91506 Telephone: (818) 640-5712 Open Fridays and Saturdays 6-9 PM and by appointment. Three generations of the D'Argenzio family work together to produce world class wines. The winery is located in Sonoma County. Luckily for those living in Southern California, they have recently opened a second tasting room in Burbank. Their focus is on producing premium handcrafted Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Stop by soon and taste their wonderful Sonoma wine.

Wines produced include Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Grenache Noir, Port, Cream Sherry, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre, Syrah, Zinfanel, Chardonnay, Muscat, Merlot, and Riesling.
Laguna Canyon Winery Address: 2133 Laguna Canyon Rd., Laguna Beach, CA 92651 Telephone: (949) 715-9463 Open Tues.-Sun. 11 AM - 6 PM This Los Angeles winery is a small boutique winery producing wines using grapes from selected vineyards in Napa and Sonoma. Laguna Canyon Winery is known for their fruit forward winemaking style.

Rosenthal - The Malibu Estate Address: 26023 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu, CA 90265 Telephone: (310) 456-1392 OpenThis Los Angeles winery makes wines from grapes grown in a scenic valley four miles from the coast, 1,400-feet up, above the coastal fog, in the AVA Malibu Newton Canyon. They produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay.
San Antonio Winery Address: 737 Lamar St., Los Angeles, CA Telephone: (323) 223-1401 Open daily 9 AM - 7 PM This historic Los Angeles winery was established in 1917 and is the only winery currently operating within the city of Los Angeles. They also have a restaurant and a catering business.
