Normal ticket prices are $29.95 for adults; $27.95 for students; Children 3-12 are $17.95; and children under 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the aquarium.

AAA Discounts
AAA members can receive a $2 discount per ticket on adult or children tickets. They must be purchased in advance at your local AAA office. You'll save a little money and time since you won't need to stand in line at the aquarium.

TSA Services
TSA Services provides Monterey Bay Aquarium discount tickets for educators. If you belong to California Teachers Association, Association of California School Administrators, or the California Retired Teacher Association, you can purchase aquarium tickets in advance for $3 off per ticket. Offer expires 9/30/10.

There are so many things to see at this amazing aquarium. You could easily spend the entire day, but should set aside at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours for a complete tour. Don't miss the 2 story tank home to a kelp forest and many marine animals. Other highlights include the touch pool, jellyfish, and seahorse exhibits.
