Silverado Resort

Step back in time to a world of elegance and charm at Silverado Resort. The centerpiece of this 1,200 acre resort is the historic Mansion built in the 1870s and now a California landmark. Located in the heart of Napa Valley this sophisticated resort is lushly landscaped and offers luxurious Napa accommodations.

There are 280 private cottage suites scattered throughout the resort. Rooms range from standard rooms, junior suites, one bedroom suites, and 2 bedroom suites. All guests can enjoy golf at two 18 hole wine country golf courses designed by Robert Trent, Jr. There are also 17 tennis courts and 10 swimming pools.

Napa Valley’s largest resort spa is at Silverado Resort. You will find fitness and salon services here as well as massage and body care treatments. Bicycle rentals are available and you are welcome to enjoy the jogging trails that around the property.

Silverado Resort provides romantic and relaxing Napa accomodations. We have stayed there a number of times. We prefer the larger suites, which are really spacious and nicely appointed, but the standard rooms and junior suites are also lovely. The golf courses are well groomed and challenging. Get on the mailing list for this resort as they often have specials which are real bargains for both golf and accommodatiions.

Directions from San Francisco:Take 80 East and cross the Oakland Bay Bridge for 8.3 miles. Follow signs to 80 East (Berkeley/Sacramento) for 24.2 miles. Exit at Highway 37 Exit (Napa/Vallejo) for 2 miles. Take Highway 29 (Napa/Vallejo) for 10 miles. (Do not exit Downtown Napa / Lake Berryessa off ramp). Turn right onto Trancas St. for 1.9 miles (you are now 10 minutes away). Continue on Trancas St. and follow the sign to Lake Berryessa (Highway 121 Monticello Road) for 1.1 miles. Turn left on Atlas Peak Road for 0.8 miles. Turn right at the traffic light and drive right up to the Mansion!

Directions from Sacramento: Take Highway 80 West (San Francisco) for 46.9 miles. Take Highway 80 West onto Highway 12 (Napa / Sonoma) for 5.9 miles. Turn right on Highway 29 North for 9.9 miles (do not exit Downtown Napa / Lake Berryessa off ramp). Turn right onto Trancas St. for 1.9 miles (you are now 10 minutes away). Continue on Trancas St. and follow the sign to Lake Berryessa ( Highway 121 / Monticello Road) for 1.1 miles. Turn left onto Atlas Peak Road for 0.8 miles. Turn right at the traffic light and drive right up to the Mansion!
