Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the last of the great seaside amusement parks still opearating in the United States and home to two National Historic Landmarks - the 1911 Looff Carousel and 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster. The entire property is a State Historic Landmark.
Owned and operated by the Santa Cruz Seaside Company since 1915, the Boardwalk remains a family style amusement park enjoyed by many. Visitors are thrilled by the classic and modern rides, video game arcades, minature golf, restaurants, family bowling, unique shops, and a mile of sandy beach.
On Friday nights throughout the summer guests are treated to live music from the 70s and 80s as rock bands perform on the beach bandstand. Special events are scheduled all year long and admission to the boardwalk is always free.
Costco has the best prices on unlimited ride passes unless you visit on a “Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk PEPSI NIGHT”. After 5 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the summer you can bring in a Pepsi can and get an unlimited ride pass for only $9.95.
