Enjoy a Romantic Getaway at Seascape Resort in Santa Cruz CountyWine Country Accomodations That are Sure to Please
As we registered for our stay, we were immediately impressed by the view we saw from the large windows overlooking the bay. After Steve registered, we sat by the largest fireplace we’ve seen and enjoyed the view. What a lovely way to relax after a day of wine tasting!
Our room was nicely decorated with a nautical theme, which included pictures of ocean scenes as well as two wooden sailboats on shelves. The amenities in the room were many. The king size bed was comfortable and we could see the gas fireplace from the bed. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had a dishwasher, a table, and 4 chairs. There were two chairs by the fireplace and a balcony with a café table and 2 chairs. The bathroom had a full shower as well as a separate bath tub, though it was small.Later that evening we explored the swimming pool and spa area. It was cozy and warm snuggling around the large outdoor fireplace, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the fresh ocean breezes. The next morning we wandered around the grounds, which were beautifully landscaped. It was a short walk down to the beach on a paved path. The only thing we regretted about this wine country accommodation is that we only had time to stay one night. We can’t wait to return again and enjoy a longer romantic getaway at this beautiful resort.

Directions from Hwy. 1 take the San Andreas/Larkin Valley Rd. exit. Turn right off the exit and follow San Andreas West to Seascape Blvd. Turn right on Seascape Blvd. and continue until it ends at Seascape Resort Drive. The lobby is to the left. Seascape is a wonderful place for a wine country vacation. You can visit and do nothing but relax at the resort, or you can choose from a long list of activities. Choices include an 18 hole golf course, tennis, spa treatments, shopping, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Redwood forests, Monterey Bay Aquarium; and, of course, wine tasting.
