Spicy Zinfandel is grown on the cooler hillsides. The long ripening season on the slopes of Sonoma Mountain are perfect for growing premium Cabernet Sauvignons. Benziger is a family owned winery that is also a leader in biodynamic grape growing practices that result in outstanding wines. Their Biodynamic Vineyard Tram Tour is one of the best tours we've taken. You are driven through the vineyards, visit the fermination facility, and walk through the wine caves. This 45 minute winery tour also includes wine tasting.

They have a lovely tasting room that was once a stagecoach stop for Wells Fargo. Enjoy great wines. A great stop for a picnic.

Ask to hear the stories behind the art. They will let you go into the reserve tasting room to see the art in that room as well.
