St. Helena Wineries St. Helena wineries should be included in your Napa Valley wine tasting tour. Highly recognized for its world-class Napa wineries, St. Helena has wineries and much more to offer. This charming Napa town is centrally located in the Napa Valley. This well known Napa Restaurant is located on Hwy. 29 in St. Helena, but has the ambiance of a quaint Tuscan cafe. The setting is lovely, service wonderful, and the food is outstanding. You may dine indoors or out on the patio. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a pizza parlor and a wine bar.

They have won many awards for their wines including a Double Gold for the 2005 Chenin Blanc. They also produce Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Zinfandel Port.

Enjoy the casual atmosphere of this Napa Farmhouse decorated with Elvis Presley memorabilia and rock and roll signs. Casa Nuestra means “Our House”. Casa Nuestra wines are made with old world traditional styles of wine making.

It is owned by the Peter Mondavi family. They specialize in Bordeaux style blends, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel.

It is now run by the Leducq Foundation as a nonprofit organization supporting cardiovascular research. Their wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Franc.

Folie A. Deux Winery Address: 3070 N. St. Helena Hwy., St. Helena, CA Telephone: (707) 963-1160 Open daily 10 AM – 5 PM Folie A.Deux means “shared fantasties” and was given this name by the original two owners who shared a fantasy of owning a winery and producing great wines. Located on Hwy. 29 this winery was purchased by Trinchero Family Estates in 2004. This St. Helena winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Syrah, and some very affordable Menage a Trois blends.
Frank Family Vineyards Address: 1091 Larkmead, St. Helena, CA Telephone: (707) 942-0859 Open daily 10 AM – 5 PM This Napa winery has limited production handcrafted wines that are mostly sold at the winery. You will find them in a small number of wine shops and restaurants as well. This St. Helena winery is owned by Rich Frank, former Hollywood film executive and Koerner Rombauer and is located in the historic Larkmead Winery.

Their wines include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grignolin, Grignolin Rose, Zinfandel, and Port.
Louis M. Martini Winery Address: 254 S. St. Helena Hwy., St. Helena, CA Telephone: (707) 963-2736 or (800) 321-9463 Open daily 10 AM – 4:30 PM This Napa winery was established in 1933 by Louis M. Martini, an Italian immigrant. The winery specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon made from Sonoma as well as Napa Valley grapes. Their Gnarly Vine Zinfandel is only available at the tasting room.

St. Helena Fwy., St. Helena, CA Telephone: (707) 963-5292 Open daily 10 AM – 5 PM This Napa winery is often recognized for their fine Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. They also offer special collectible bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon featuring Madonna, the Rolling Stones, and Kiss on the labels.

Merryvale Vineyards Address: 1000 Main St., Helena, CA Telephone: (707) 963-2225 or (800) 326-6069 Open daily 10 AM – 6:30 PM This St. Helena winery produces a wide range of excellent wines including reserve and single vineyard wines. Be sure to try the Antigua Dessert Wine Muscat de Frontignan. It has been aged for 11 years in French oak and fortified with brandy. It’s heavenly! Merryvale has barrel tastings the second weekend of each month from 1 – 5 PM. They also offer Saturday wine classes from 10:30-12:30 about Napa wine tasting or wine and food pairing. All of their wines are 100% Estate grown, produced, and bottled. Their wines include Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, a red table wine, and Zivio, which means Cheers in Croatian. Zivio is made in the vintage Port style.

Sample their wines and enjoy bocceball and a picnic area. The winery is located in an historic building with an old Roman press.

They also have Cabernet Sauvignon, a dessert Riesling, and sometimes a Chardonnay. There’s a wine country bed and breakfast here as well.

Napa Valley Reserve wines are their flagship wines. They also have limited edition wines, as well as a new label called R Collection and Amberhill, which are priced for everyday enjoyment.

This St. Helena winery specializes in Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Enjoy a free Napa winery tour,wine tasting, and small picnic area.

All of the wines from this Napa Winery are estate grown. They produce Riesling, Chardonnay,and Cabernet Sauvignon.

They produce a wide variety of wines: Johannisberg Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, White Cabernet Sauvignon, White Merlot, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, White Zinfandel, Zinfandel, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Merlot.
