Alameda County Wineries


Alameda County wineries are producing some fabulous wines in what is called the East Bay region near San Francisco. These urban wineries have made a name for themselves with their award winning wines.

Some of these wineries have tasting rooms that are regularly open for wine tasting. Others are only open by appointment and special events.


Alameda Wineries

A Donkey and a Goat

This Berkeley winery was established in 2002 when husband and wife team, Jarey and Tracey left their day jobs and decided to create their own winery.

Dashe Cellars

Open Thursday - Sunday noon - 5 PM.
In addition to the winery and tasting room in Oakland, Dashe Cellars shares a tasting room in the heart of Zinfandel country, at the Family Wineries Tasting Room outside of Healdsburg. Dashe Cellars is known for their single vineyard Zinfandel and also produce Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Eno Wines is a small boutique winery that specializes in limited productions of Pinot Noir, Old Vine Zinfandel, Grenach, and Syrah.

Harrington Wine

Open by appointment only.
Harrington Wines produces great Pinot Noir from five different California appellations including Monterey, Carneros, and Sonoma.

JC Cellars

Open by appointment only.
This Oakland winery specializes in Syrah, Petite Syrah, Viognier, and Zinfandel.

Lost Canyon

Open Fri. - Sun. Noon - 6 PM.
Lost Canyon Winery produces Pinot Noir and Syrah from vineyards located in the Russian River, Los Carneros, and Sonoma Coast wine appellations.

Rosenblum Cellars

Open daily 11 AM - 6 PM.
Rosenblum is one of our favorite wineries. They are known for their single vineyard Zinfandel, but produce many other award winning and fabulous tasting wines. Rosenblum also has a tasting room in Healdsburg.
